The story

What sets it apart

An archaeological hill crowned by an old observatory tower above El Labban.

The district’s page on the governorate portal (2010) says Kom El Nadura is one of the archaeological areas of El Labban, going back to the Fatimid period, with the oldest observatory of Mohamed Ali’s time, which was used to guide ships.

We found no source giving visiting hours for the hill, so it appears here as it is seen from the street.
